  • The Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop 9065 Selborne Lane Palmetto, GA, 30268 United States (map)

Bring your friends and family to Serenbe Film's monthly series, the "Daisy Movie Night"! On Saturday, February 11th, we will be showing The Gold Rush starring Charlie Chaplin! Come to the Blue Eyed Daisy Bakeshop anytime after 4pm for hotdogs and hamburgers...with SHOESTRING potatoes in honor of that famous shoe string scene and enjoy cupcakes with "gold dust" on top! The movie starts at 6:30!

The Gold Rush is a 1925 American comedy film written, produced, and directed by Charlie Chaplin. The film also stars Chaplin in his Little Tramp persona, Georgia Hale, Mack Swain, Tom Murray, Henry Bergman, and Malcolm Waite. The Gold Rush received Academy Award nominations for Best Music and Best Sound Recording upon its re-release in 1942. It is today one of Chaplin's most celebrated works, and he himself declared several times that it was the film for which he wanted to be remembered. It is, of course, the movie where he ate his shoe.

Come learn about the film's background, play a movie trivia game (with prize!), and enjoy some wonderful fellowship and community fun!

Sign up online to secure your free seat! We only have room for 40-45 people, so be sure to sign up early, and make sure to tell us how many in your party too! And be sure to brush up on your Charlie Chaplin trivia to be ready for the game!
